Biography
Peter Schreiner is recognised worldwide as an expert in youth football.

Coach and author
Always on the move
As a coach (UEFA A licence) he worked at Sportfreunde Katernberg (Oberliga), among others, and was youth coordinator of FC Schalke 04’s academy. Building on this experience and on organising numerous football schools – an idea he brought from the USA to Germany in the early 1990s – he founded the Institute for Youth Football (IFJ96) in 1996.
As an author, Peter Schreiner has published numerous football coaching books that have been translated into more than 7 languages, including “Die Kunst des Angriffsfußballs” (The art of attacking football), “Fußball – Perfekte Ballbeherrschung” (Soccer – Perfect Ball Control) and “Koordinationstraining Fußball” (Coordination training for football).
More than 300 appearances in 28 countries
Producer, speaker and coach educator
As a producer he won over well-known names from football for his projects early on, including Norbert Elgert, Horst Wein, Ralf Peter, Peter Hyballa, Sven Hübscher, Matthias Nowak and Steven Turek – always with the aim of making modern training ideas and philosophies accessible to coaches at every level.
This made IFJ96 one of the leading providers of football training media, and many of its publications became standard works in youth football.
Alongside his work as a producer and author, Peter Schreiner is a speaker and coach educator in demand worldwide (more than 28 countries). He has now given more than 300 national and international coach education events and congress talks, including for the DFB, the BDFL, the AEFCA and the Brazilian, Chilean, Mexican, Colombian and Polish football federations.

easy Sports-Software
Founder and projects
In 2006 he founded the sports software company easy Sports-Software together with Dr. Marion Becker-Richter. Its programs easy Sports-Graphics and easy Animation quickly set new standards for presenting training exercises and tactics in detail.
Today leading football institutions, federations, publishers and clubs around the world use the software in their daily work, including the DFB, many academies, the German Sport University Cologne, the Hennes Weisweiler Academy, Meyer & Meyer publishing, Bayern Munich (Hansi Flick has been a fan of the software for years) and many other top clubs.
Congresses and online learning
Standing still? Not a chance.
Standing still is not in Peter Schreiner’s vocabulary – for four years now he has organised the annual Derbystar congress for youth and amateur coaches.
He is also very active online: with online seminars and e-learning, he makes coach education easy to access from anywhere.
And he is still constantly on the road: seminars and talks take him all over the world, recently above all to China, where a whole new football world is opening up.
