On 20 June, Peter Schreiner led a coach education session at the 114th TGLR training event at the Ahe-Stadion. The topic was individual training for attacking players, with a focus on two-footedness in passing and finishing.
In the theory session, Schreiner presented his finishing matrix for the systematic coaching of different types of finish. In the practical session, the U10 and U18 teams of Rotenburger SV worked through age-appropriate game formats and shooting drills focused on two-footedness and decision-making.
Both demonstration groups put the content into practice with great concentration, giving the coaches in attendance concrete ideas for their own training.
