On 17 and 18 March 2025, Peter Schreiner led a workshop at Red Star Belgrade for coaches of the younger youth teams. In theory and practical sessions, he presented content from the DFB's new children's football, with a focus on FUNino and Skillshirtz.
In the practical sessions, Schreiner worked with Red Star Belgrade's U9 team. Using small-sided games, FUNino game formats and Skillshirtz drills, he delivered player-centred training content on perception, decision-making and speed of action. Targeted questions guided the children to find solutions on their own.
Alongside the workshop, Peter Schreiner gave an interview on modern children's football. A further workshop for the U10 to U12 age groups is planned.
