Finally presenting live again! On 13 September 2021, Peter Schreiner (Institute for Youth Football) presented his concept for targeted, systematic finishing training – especially for strikers – in theory and practice. The demo group at this BDFL coach education event were players from the U19 and U23 of VfB Lübeck.
The coaches took home plenty of ideas for their own training and were delighted by the speaker's lively presentation (see feedback below).
Topic: "Individual training and detailed coaching for goalscorers"
Due to coronavirus restrictions, only 50 coaches took part. Peter Schreiner introduced Malek Fakhro, with whom he had done individual training two years earlier and who now scores goals for VfB Lübeck.

Peter Schreiner demonstrated and coached two groups in turn – including shooting from the edge of the box and shooting after a reaction in the "goalscorer diamond". The session ended with two small-sided games in which players had to score from different positions under time and opponent pressure.
