On 18 November 2019, Peter Schreiner presented his concept of individual training for strikers, with a focus on coaching, at the BDFL Nordrhein coach education event, which was expertly prepared and led by Dr Gerd Thissen, Robert Begerau and Rolf Mauritz. More than 100 A-licence coaches and Fußballlehrer (Pro licence holders) came to the Sportschule Duisburg-Wedau to continue their education and earn 5 hours towards renewing their licences.
As Hannes Wolf had to cancel his talk at short notice, Schreiner extended his own talk and practical demonstration, filling the gap.
Dr Gerd Thissen (Chairman of the Nordrhein regional group) opens the event.
Practical demonstration:
The practical demonstration covered accuracy when shooting, speed of action near the goal and 1 v 1 against the goalkeeper.
Peter Schreiner explains the "goalscorer diamond", which improves players' perception and speed of action near the goal.
Demonstration group: U16 SG Unterrath, here with Peter Schreiner and Niko Illiev, who assisted Peter Schreiner in the practical session.
