As part of the Shanghai Future Star Cup 2024, Peter Schreiner gave several expert talks at the invitation of the Shanghai Football Association. His talk on two-footedness in finishing was broadcast live on television. Alongside VfB Stuttgart, teams taking part in the tournament included Real Madrid, Inter Milan, CR Flamengo and Feyenoord Rotterdam.
Schreiner then took part in a panel discussion on youth football in Asia together with representatives of VfB Stuttgart and Shanghai Shenhua. The talks were translated into several languages and supported organisationally.
After the tournament, Schreiner continued his trip to China with seminars in Shanghai, Haimen and Beijing. In theory and practical sessions, he covered topics such as two-footedness, finishing training and 1v1 situations against the goalkeeper.
