On 26 and 27 March, Peter Schreiner led a seminar in Austria. It was organised by FC Schruns (Vorarlberg) under the direction of Manuel Flöry and Marco Kolb.
Main theme: “Current training trends in youth and amateur football”
Seminar topics:
- Two-footedness in passing and finishing
- Moments that decide games: training perception & speed of action in practice (T-PRO Connect and reaction gloves)
- Finishing training in continuous drills and game forms
The seminar was supported by: teamsportbedarf.de
“Once again, I would like to thank you very much for the superb seminar – it was simply brilliant. The other coaches were also very enthusiastic about you. There will certainly be a follow-up.”

Practical session in the sports hall
A thick blanket of snow prevented the presentation on the pitch, so there was only one practical demonstration, held in the sports hall.
One key topic was “Perception training with T-PRO Connect bibs and reaction gloves” from Teamsportbedarf.

In the second practical session, Peter Schreiner showed how to specifically train two-footedness in passing: partner exercises such as “forwards-backwards-diagonal” and exercises in groups of three improve passing with the non-dominant foot.

Because the practical session on Saturday could not take place, Peter Schreiner gave his presentation “Psychology in finishing”, using numerous examples to show that finishing training (technique, tactics) on its own is not enough. Psychological aspects also play a significant role when shooting at goal.
The seminar series at FC Schruns, supported by the Vorarlberger Fußball-Verband, is set to continue in the summer.
