On 9 October 2025, as part of the University of Duisburg-Essen's orientation week, Peter Schreiner led a joint workshop with SW Essen. First-semester students explored the topic of two-footedness in football in theory and practice.
In the theory session, Schreiner explained the importance of two-footedness as a performance factor and showed how systematic training can be structured. The practical part included game-like passing, warm-up and finishing drills in which technique and finishing were trained with both feet.
Further events are planned as part of the partnership between the University of Duisburg-Essen and SW Essen.
